Community Health Workers and Oral Health

Many states are integrating community health workers into health care systems —including for oral health services — to help facilitate care and advance health equity.

Why it matters: Oral health is fundamental to overall health across the lifespan. CHWs can help improve oral health education and improve access to oral health services for youth and older adult populations.
